Terry Maximo is a pseudonym. You may already know my real name. Perhaps you will never know it. But a name is not who you are. A name is what people call you. A name is how you're referred to when you're not around. A name is the noise that the two apes that made you decided to permanently associate with your being. But it plays no part in defining who you are, which can be a difficult thing to do.

     The biggest problem with trying to define who you are is that it is subjective. I may not be to me who I am to you, and may not be to you who I am to another person. You follow? So who's to really say who I am? I suppose I should have the best idea at what the truest answer to that question would be, although somedays I'm pretty unsure. But I guess if I had to define who I am, I would probably do it like this....

     I'm just a big dumb idiot ape who likes to take photos, make songs, and turn my brain thoughts into paper words. I'm just a clueless (incredibly good looking) monkey who wants everyone to have food and water and a home and thinks that we live in a world with enough resources and technology to make that happen. But for the most part, I'm just a meaningless, incomprehensibly minuscule  hunk of fleshy sentient energy, floating through space, wandering around a watery ball of molten metal and rock, just trying to make some other meaningless, incomprehensibly minuscule hunks of fleshy sentient energy happy. That's who I am.
